Former SpaceX Leader Charts Course for Terra Industries’ Expansion
Terra Industries, a rising defense technology company focused on securing critical infrastructure in the Global South, has appointed Ben MacWilliams as its Vice President of Strategy. This marks a significant move for the company as it seeks to scale its operations across multiple markets.
MacWilliams brings extensive experience from SpaceX, where he most recently served as Director of Starlink Market Access for Africa—overseeing launches in more than 20 countries and working directly with heads of state and regulators. Prior to this role, he established market access strategies for the Middle East and Central Eurasia, securing foundational broadband licenses in both regions.
