SiGMA Opens Applications for International Startup Competition
Early-stage startups across Africa and beyond are invited to apply for the 2027 SiGMA Pitch Startup Competition, a global initiative designed to connect promising businesses with investors and industry leaders. The competition will feature multiple regional events throughout 2027, including a dedicated edition at the SiGMA Africa Summit in Cape Town, South Africa.
The SiGMA Startup Village is expected to host over 100 startups in Cape Town alone, with the top six finalists advancing to a live pitch competition before judges and potential investors. This platform aims to provide emerging companies in technology, gaming, fintech, and related sectors with critical exposure and networking opportunities.
